Dean M. Woodford works in the entertainment industry, producing alongside Oscar-winning cinema legend Martin Scorsese and earning accolades from renowned festivals such as Napa and Savanna. His debut as a writer and director was cast by legendary James Bond casting director Debbie McWilliams. Alongside his work in film, Dean is the traditionally published children’s author of Cretaceous Crater, with his books stocked internationally by leading retailers. Dean lives with a large birthmark covering his left hand, arm, neck, chest, and side of his head, as well as visible burn scars on his left arm from a childhood accident at age three. He joined the Birthmark Support Group because he wants to help children and teens, especially, to feel more confident in themselves and to chase whatever dreams they have, no matter the obstacles.
